This commercial law office was renovated to incorporate the structural steel into the overall design. A 'moment frame', I-beams to help strengthen the structure, were used just inside the entryway and were covered to represent wooden posts. The exterior steel was used to frame the windows and give a solid feel for the awning. Wooden doors soften the overall look. They were treated with many coats of marine varnish to help them weather well.
